Haiti Mission Trip & Video
What a blessing it was this past Sunday to share, along with the other 55 team members, about our experience in Haiti. And what a phenomenal trip it was!
Saturday was spent preparing for the week ahead, Sunday we worshiped with the church,Eglise Baptiste Evangélique de Meyotte. (this is the church we have partnered with to rebuild) Then Monday through Thursday we.... held VBS for 200 children, painted the inside and outside of a church, built a home for a widow, worked at “Wings of Hope” which is an orphanage for special needs individuals, did door to door evangelism and praying with people, cleaned and disinfected another orphanage and delivered food to the community of Canez, Haiti.
It was a very busy and physically challenging week but in the words or one of our team members.... “We were forever changed by our experience in Haiti!”
Below is a video that we shared on Sunday. It should give you a small taste of our week. But I do want to warn you.... it might make you want to join us next year. Or at least I hope it does!
