You have noticed, I’m sure that as a nation, we are already in the “2012 Election Mode.” How will you vote or respond? More important that making our choices known in the political arena is how we vote each and every day to respond or react to the life issues (hurts, hang-ups and habits) that we have encountered.

I’m reminded of the old question, “Are you a glass half empty person or a glass half full person. Your response to the question impacts how you cope with your life’s most difficult issues. The fact: We have all been hurt. I strive to focus daily on 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in trouble with the comfort we ourselves received from God.”

God helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups and habits so that we in turn can help others gain the victory over theirs. In other words, because of the hurts we have faced, God gives us a ministry that we did not ask for. Daily, we have the opportunity to use our life experiences for good if we so choose. How will you vote?
