

Care and Prayer Care and Prayer Ministry offers hope and help in times of pain or crisis for families, singles, children & adults of all ages through Celebrate Recovery, DivorceCare and Pastoral Care. We also provide pastoral guidance, support and services for weddings and funerals.
Prayer Ministry
This ministry enlists, educates, equips, trains and encourages members and regular attenders to participate in various aspects of prayer, believing that prayer is powerful and effective. Celebrate Recovery 12-Step Program
Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step Biblical recovery program for those seeking freedom from addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behavior, and to overcome negative habits, hurts, and hang-ups, whether individually or maritally. For more information, contact us.
Homebound Ministry
Ministry participants will experience the blessing of visiting and meeting the needs of people who are homebound or in nursing or assisted-living facilities.
DivorceCare
DivorceCare provides a sensitive support group for helping you recover from the hurt and isolation of separation or divorce. Often, others around you do not understand the pain your divorce or separation is causing - for you, your children, your family, your friends. DivorceCare is here to help strengthen you for a fresh, new beginning.
Hospital Visitation Ministry
The Hospital Visitation members visit church members who are sick and in the hospital to provide comfort and encouragement in their time of need. If you know one of our church family members is in the hospital, please call or email Second Baytown. Jail Ministry
The jail ministry meets at the Baytown City Jail each Sunday morning before services to counsel, pray, and encourage inmates.
Meals Ministry
The Meals Ministry serves meal to members and regular attenders
on a short term basis who have been hospitalized with the
birth of a child or a serious illness. If you know one of
our church members is in the hospital or recently returned
home from the hospital, please call or email us. The Meals
Ministry team will be notified and a meal will be scheduled

Funerals
The death of a family member is a very substantial loss. We want to make this painful transition time of sorrow and grief less lonely and overwhelming by assisting in funeral services for our members and their families. We are available to answer questions about death and life after death. We also offer support and help to families and individuals during this very difficult and sorrowful time. Weddings
