Adult Discipleship Ministries

On Campus Groups (OCG’s)
All adult attendees and members of Second are encouraged to get involved in Bible Study. Participants in Bible Study will experience life-changing teaching, small group interaction, fellowship and friendship development. See a list of OCG classes here.

CROWN (Stewardship)
CROWN Ministries is a stewardship program that takes place during a 12 week Bible Study/small group environment. Participants will learn Biblical principles outlining how we should use our time, talents, finances and abilities for God’s purposes.

New Member’s Discipleship (Ministry Guides)
Ministry participants who wish to become involved with new members discipleship will help new members become fully devoted followers of Christ. Ministry participants will help the staff organize and track members’ successful completion of C.L.A.S.S. 101, 201, 301, and 401. Some participants will also mentor new members to Second and serve as “Ministry Guides” by meeting one-on-one with selected new members and helping them find their place of ministry.

Mentoring Ministry
Participants in the mentor ministry will meet one-on-one with new believers in Christ. Mentors on some occasions will also assist the staff with counseling and prayer in the “Hospitality Room” at the end of each service.
