<title>Children&#039;s Ministry Blog</title>
<link>http://www.secondbaytown.org/childrens-ministry-blog/</link>
<description>The Father Daughter Princess Breakfast was a beautiful event.  It was so much fun seeing those daddies bring their &quot;little princesses&quot; in and taking care of them during our time together.  They made crafts, played games, took pictures, colored, and the little ones had a princess parade.  The highlight of the breakfast was when Cinderella showed up to greet the girls.  Our morning ended with Cinderella reading a story to all of the girls &quot;There&#039;s a Princess in Me.&quot;  It talks about how God made each girl and no matter how they act or what might go wrong in their lives, &quot;God is growing a princess inside of them if they will allow her to come out.&quot;
I encourage all dads to continue to spend some one-on-one time with their princesses.  Don&#039;t forget to take her out on a date so she will know how to act when a &quot;real date&quot; comes along.  She will treasure those memories forever.  I remember as a girl and as a teenager, my dad taking me out &quot;on a date.&quot;  In fact, he took me on a date even
after I was married.  Dr. James Dobson just came out with a brand new book, &quot;Raising Up Girls.&quot;  It is a great book and Dr. Dobson wrote a book &quot;Raising up Boys&quot; which has been on the market for a number of years and has sold more than a million copies.  I encourage you to check it out and spend some time preparing how to raise a godly young lady.
You can see more photo at Kidventure on facebook.
