~ The Resurrection Matters ~

I am reminded each year as Easter approaches, that the resurrection of Jesus Christ was a real event that changed the world forever. Simply put…the resurrection matters.

The resurrection matters because Jesus Christ changes lives like no other.

The resurrection matters because the Bible is true.

The resurrection matters because the power of Christ can heal broken marriages.

The resurrection matters because Jesus Christ can deliver people from all kinds of addictions.

The resurrection matters because Our Redeemer comforts the hurting and helpless.

The resurrection matters because Our Savior can take a father and mother and kids…and knit them together as a family.

The resurrection matters because single parent families can find hope and strength in the strong name of Jesus Christ.

The resurrection matters because Our Lord can bring unity to churches who band together under His name.

The resurrection matters because it allows us to embrace reconciliation and forgiveness.

The resurrection matters because in Christ we are given hope when all hope is lost.

The resurrection matters because it is the anchor of our faith.

Jesus Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection from the grave matter because those three days in history are the “crowning moment” of Jesus’ ministry here on earth, and it gives believers in Him the confidence of peace and eternity in Heaven forever.

The resurrection…matters.
