Clubber Handbook Guidelines
1. Parents are not allowed to sign off their children’s or relatives Handbook sections.
2. Clubbers must pass a section with no more than two helps or prompts.
- Help is whatever aid a leader chooses to assist a clubber in the completion of a section.
- One help should equal no more than three or 4 words.
- Those with learning disabilities may be allowed more than 2 helps at the discretion of the club Director.
- Challenge aggressive learners to recite material word perfect.
3. Clubbers must recite both references and verses.
4. Clubbers must pass sections in order.
- Sections are often topical and build upon Scriptural truths taught in previous sections.
- Need to learn them in order.
5. Clubbers must pass the four Bible Drill in order.
- They may complete Bible Drills and Activities simultaneously.
- Bible Drills and their sections must be passed in order.
Example: They must complete Bible Drill 1 before Bible Drill 2.
6. Help clubbers pronounce Difficult Terms.
- Challenging words with memorization material that are in bold italic, type are defined in Things to Know Box.
- Things to Know box contains lists of difficult terms - to understanding terms and definitions. It is intended to aid the clubber in understanding and is not to be memorized.
- Tell Your Leader questions at the bottom of the page is to help the clubbers understand what they have memorized.
Remember
- Primary Goal is to encourage clubbers in your group to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
- Help clubbers progress in their Handbook Achievement.
- Be quick to praise clubbers when they are doing a good job.
- Remind clubbers of team points they receive for passing sections and encourage them to achieve long range rewards.
